Painted was designed by Louise Zass-Bangham for The Loopy Ewe.
This shallow-triangle scarf is perfect for any time of year. Wear it loose when weather is mild. Wrap it around and knot the ends when the wind blows.
Designed to show-off a special variegated yarn, this amazing vintage stitch pattern makes a light-weight fabric. It also works beautifully in solid colors.
The pattern is named "Painted" because you can really see the colours painted on your yarn. It is also a reference to Canada's Group of Seven artists who painted the spectacular colours of Agawa Canyon - the inspiration for the vibrant yarn.
This is an easy intermediate project, and a great gift-knit.
