Granny Squares and More Crochet Class
This Crochet Class is perfect for those who have completed our Basic Crochet class and for those who have beginning crochet experience and are ready for the next step! In this workshop, you will learn how to crochet a granny square from our pattern; how to begin, end, and join squares; alternative techniques that streamline color changes and working in the round; and how your crochet squares can be used for various projects. Recommended for ages 13+
This class will run Saturdays, November 8, 10:30 am - 12 pm & November 22, 10:00-12:00
*basic crochet skills required (chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet)
Supply List:
- Approximately 50-100 yards of DK, Light Worsted, or Worsted weight yarn in main
color, and 25-50 yards each of DK, Light Worsted, or Worsted weight yarn in 4-7
contrasting colors - DK, Light Worsted, and Worsted weight yarns available at The Loopy Ewe
- Size G (4.00mm), G-7 (4.5mm), and/or H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook depending on yarn
weight - Crochet stitch markers
- Darning Needle
- Scissors; pencil
- Pattern provided at the class
