month, Kim will guide you through a variety of topics, from basic techniques to
advanced patterns, ensuring there's something for everyone. Bring your enthusiasm,
your favorite yarn and hooks, and get ready to connect with fellow crochet enthusiasts
in a supportive and fun environment. Don't miss out on the chance to enhance your
skills, make new friends, and create beautiful projects!
The Crochet Club weekly topic will be followed by project help. Crochet club plus help will be 2 hours of instruction. Your $20 fee includes most patterns, potential hand-outs, and free help/assistance during the project help period (or just hang out and crochet with Kim).

May 16, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Crochet Celtic Cables
The May Crochet Club pattern will be Learn Celtic Crochet Cables. During our May Crochet Club, we will learn Celtic Crochet Cables. Celtic crochet cables are created by working post stitches in a specific order to mimic the look of traditional woven cables. This technique involves layering and crossing stitches, with front and back post double crochet, to achieve the signature intertwined effect. We'll start with a
basic cable motif in a scarf pattern by The Guy with a Hook.
Supplies
- Approximately 200-300 yards any Worsted or DK weight yarn, available at The
Loopy Ewe - Size G (4 mm), H (5 mm), or I (5.5 mm) crochet hooks, or the hook that matches
your weight of yarn - Darning Needle
- Scissors; pencil
- Open ended markers
June 27, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Beginner Mosaic Crochet
During our June Crochet Club, we will learn Beginner Mosaic Crochet learning to create beautiful, colorful patterns using basic crochet techniques. If you are familiar with single crochet and double crochet, this class will guide you step-by-step through mosaic crochet methods, helping you craft colorful coasters with just a few simple stitches and color changes.
Supplies
- Approximately 50 yards each of 2 highly contrasting DK or Worsted weight cotton
yarn, available at The Loopy Ewe - Size G (4 mm) crochet hook, or the hook that matches your weight of yarn
- Darning Needle
- Scissors; pencil
- Open ended markers
