Crocheters! Join us each month on a Saturday to learn about the
world of crochet - see individual months for actual Saturday dates and weekly topics.

Whether you're a beginner looking to learn new stitches or an experienced crocheter
seeking inspiration, the Crochet Club is the perfect place to nurture your creativity. Each
month, Kim will guide you through a variety of topics, from basic techniques to
advanced patterns, ensuring there's something for everyone. Bring your enthusiasm,
your favorite yarn and hooks, and get ready to connect with fellow crochet enthusiasts
in a supportive and fun environment. Don't miss out on the chance to enhance your
skills, make new friends, and create beautiful projects!

The Crochet Club weekly topic will be followed by project help. Crochet club plus help will be 2 hours of instruction. Your $20 fee includes most patterns,  potential hand-outs, and free help/assistance during the project help period (or just hang out and crochet with Kim).

Tentative Schedule:

April 18, 12:30 - 2:30 pm

This month’s Crochet Club will feature the “Call the Midwife” Crochet Baby Blanket pattern. The Call the Midwife blanket is a delightful project for beginners and experienced crocheters. This pattern, inspired by the popular TV show, can be crocheted in one color or a mixture of solids and variegated yarn to help define the individual rows and squares. It can be made in several sizes, from a smaller baby blanket to a larger Afghan.

To make the blanket, you will need DK or Worsted Weight yarn with the appropriate size hook matching your yarn weight. Yarn amounts will vary (between 700-1,500 yards) depending on blanket size. You may also use various colors in your blanket. Kim will be happy to help select your yarn at The Loopy Ewe.

May 16, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Crochet Celtic Cables

June 27, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Embroidery on Crochet
