Swallowtail Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark is a beautiful v-shaped shawl that you will use a lot! A simple bud lace pattern makes up the body of this little shawl. The pattern flows into a deep lily-of-the-valley border with a peaked edging. From the few stitches that form the center of the base of the triangle, the shawl is shaped by columns of yarnovers along the center spine and edges. The shawl is worked in a light-as-a-feather laceweight alpaca that shows every detail of the intricate patterning.
