Urth Yarns announced their Earth Day pattern, Ulukayne. It is based on a tree motif and uses Spiral Grain and Harvest yarns. In Turkish mythology, Ulukayne (originally Ulukayin) is the tree of life at the center of the earth.
The original pattern calls for Urth Spiral Grain in the light worsted base, but we think it looks just fine in the sport weight. It will be a little less heavy using the Sport. We've created kits for you to try it out too! Urth came up with 12 color combos - each named after a Turkish mythology god.
