Dream in Color
Dream in Color Yarn History: Nancy and Veronica began as friends and colleagues at a Waldorf school in Chicago, where the curriculum's emphasis on creativity and hands-on learning using colorful and natural materials was a perfect fit. Knitting and yarn were a passion for them, so in 2004 they opened a yarn shop together.
In 2006, Veronica (a life-long artist) decided to experiment with dyeing a few yarns for their store. Her experiments with color and dyeing evolved and blossomed into a full-time job. They closed their shop in 2006 to pursue running Dream in Color.
They continue to be inspired by the richly-textured hues found in nature and they are passionate about translating that beauty into luxuriant yarns of exceptional quality. They are dedicated to using domestic fibers and mills whenever possible, and their dyeing takes place in beautiful Tucson, Arizona.
