Julie loves to work with color, and the textures of yarn and fiber never cease to fascinate her. Much of her dyeing is spontaneous but as she work with the colors and the contrasts, usually an idea starts to form, and she keeps applying colors until the "canvas" says what she wants it to. Because she is also a spinner, she has a reasonable (alas not infallible) sense of what hery "paintings" will look like when they are turned into yarn. She tries to use the highest quality fibers because that's what she herself enjoys spinning, and life is too short to work with inferior products. She hopes you love her beautiful yarns!
