This Summer, we will have a Crochet Club just for kids ages 8-12! On one Saturday a month, kids with or without crochet experience will have fun learning and crocheting along with others. We will practice how to hold our hooks, make a slip knot, and make a chain. After the basics, we will practice the single crochet, a common crochet stitch. All kids will make a small project by the end of the summer based on their individual experience level.
Supply List:
- 1 skein Worsted Weight Yarn, cotton, wool, or blend, in a light shade or solid color (no black, navy, purple, or multi-colors, etc.) {worsted weight yarns available at The Loopy Ewe}
- Size H-8 (5.0 mm) and/or I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook {Clover Amour Crochet Hooks available at The Loopy Ewe}
- Darning Needle
- Open ended crochet stitch markers
- Scissors
